So when I make changes on a Watch Face and then add it to phone I see it also in the "My Watch" tab of app.
BUT does that WF I used to make changes in "Face Gallery" tab go back to its default setting or is it also supposed to stay the way i changed it? That part is what Im not quite sure of.
Hoping someone here knows how the Gallery Tab works by design.

The Watch Face in the My Faces of the My Watch tab will remain as you customized it and saved it.
The Watch Faces in the Face Gallery remain in their default condition.

Thank you so much for your quick reply.
I had thought it would but I’m seeing it stay as I change it in the “Face Gallery” after I’ve saved it to “My Watch” but yet others for instance “Colors” it goes back to original color.
Crazy.
I already reset watch yesterday and it’s a week old I’ll just chaulk it up to software. 🤔
