security message "This Connection is not Private"

I am getting this message when trying to connect to a particular website that I had on my safari top sites. I am on my MacBook Pro.

{"This Connection is not Private" this website may be impersonating "www.mem.com" to steal your personal or financial information. You should close this page.} gives two choices to click on (show details) (close page) I have not clicked on either, just gone back to previous.

I have cleared my history and cookies and removed the icon from my top sites. It still gives me this message when I try to go to that website from a search or manual input. I can get on the website from my iPhone, iPad, or through Chrome. Is there anyway to clear it from my Safari browser?

thanks for any help you can give.

Try setting up another admin user account to see if the same problem continues. Please post back on whether or not this worked. Also try the Safe Mode. Please post back on whether or not this worked.
