Spectrum App - Change Channels without using Guide

Can you change channels (spectrum tv) without having to use the guide? When I was using the Spectrum equipment, I was able to type in a channel number and it would take me to that channel (of hit a button for last channel). Looking for the same capabilities with Apple TV. Only way I know currently with Apple TV is to bring up guide and scroll to the channel I want. During commercials, I like to bounce between two programs and find it difficult with the Apple TV Spectrum App.
