magic keyboard stops working intermittently
The magic keyboard just won’t connect to the Mac. It usually happen last when mac goes into silent mode after some period of inactivity

If you hold the shift option key and click the bluetooth icon in the upper right menu bar>Debug
From here you can try the reset options.
