iCloud login issues

I was having issues with my MacBook Pro so I wiped it to start fresh. I'm unable to sign into iCloud. The password is correct but it just keeps going back to the login page doing nothing. When I purposely use the incorrect password it tells me validation failed, but nothing when I use the correct password. Any ideas?

I had to delete my key chain files.
