Editing: Mojave - System Report - Installations List

How can I edit the "Systems Report - Installations" list? I found an article here which describes for mountain lion, but this does not seem to be the same in Mojave.

I am trying to get rid of the "DUB-E100" installation duplicate entries. I realize that it may not make a difference to the operation of the computer, but I have spent enough time on this that now I would like to understand how this data is collected, where it is stored, and how to edit it.

Thanks for any help

Personally, I would be very hesitant to even attempt to do something like that, the reason being that you are going very deep into the system, and are in danger of seriously breaking something and making your system inoperable. Aside from that, with the implementation of SIP in recent iterations of macOS, chances are that what you are trying to delete or edit may be protected by the system. It is entirely up to you, of course, but I just don't think that it is a wise course to follow.

Although you may not like my answer, I hope that you will see its wisdom, and find this response helpful.
