Your iCloud storage is full but it is not

I keep getting emails that state: Your iCloud storage is full. Because you’ve exceeded your storage plan, your documents, contacts, mail, and device data are no longer backing up to iCloud and your photos and videos are not uploading to iCloud Photos. iCloud Drive and iCloud-enabled apps are not updating across your devices. To continue using these iCloud services, you need to upgrade your iCloud storage planor reduce the amount of storage you are using. Upgrade to 200 GB for $2.99 per month" but I already am paying $2.99/month. Why do I get these emails? They state iCloud is no longer backing up my devices. So, why am I paying $2.99/month if I am not getting 200 GB?

Hi iCloudstorageisfull-notcorrect,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you’re having trouble with your iCloud Storage. I’m happy to help.

To start, I suggest making sure that your iCloud Storage Subscription is active. You can find steps below:

Buy more iCloud storage - Apple Support

Manage your iCloud storage - Apple Support

If your iCloud Storage plan isn’t active, you can find steps in the first article to upgrade again. Should you have sufficient storage, I suggest making sure the email you’re receiving those emails to is the same Apple ID you use for iCloud.

Take care.
