Text notification sound scares my dog

The ding-sound my watch makes when I receive a text is killing my dog. He has a bad back, and he throws it out whenever a text comes through because he jumps-scared by the sound my watch makes. Please update WatchOS to customize the notification-sound to something else or something softer. I am stuck leaving my phone on silent mode when at home. That's if I remember, and then I feel guilty when I don't remember because he will get scared, jump, and go running off in pain when the text finally comes that reminds me to silence my watch. On silent, I cannot tell the difference between a general notification that can wait and a text-notification that I want to know about right away, so the entire time I am home I have to closely monitor every notification that comes through in case it may be a text. The problems just seem to snowball and would be easily avoided if I could simply customize the sound-notification when receiving a text.
