I have been trying unzip a file all afternoon, I have used the default Unachiver, downloaded Decrompressor and Extractor and all tell me 'error extracting invalid format'
can anyone please help me?

You could get Hex Fiend...

Then look at the Header carefully...

Talk to whoever you got the zip file from to begin with. They may have used a non-standard zip format or the file may be corrupt.
Unfortunately I created the zip file in 2012 but cant remember what I used (: I think its a large file size and I may have zipped it from a windows computer......my poor head is exploding
Bummer... try unzipping it on a Windows PC.
That would be great idea but I haven't got access to one unfortunately, I'm an Apple girl now :) Is there a way of finding out what type of zip file it is?
