4005 error on iPad pro

After updating iTunes on my Mac and plugging in my iPad Pro my iPad Pro stopped working. Now my Mac wants to restore it in iTunes. I tried every thing I have seen about this. I tried it on my iMac and then my Mac Book Pro. It does the same thing. I plug it in and then it acts like it is restoring or updating (tried both) and then I get a 4005 error.

Everything I see on Google when searching for help is to download some program and it will fix it. I do not feel safe doing that. I see very little from Apple about this problem.
