When asking HomePod to send a message. Siri responds that "there is a problem with the App. Cannot do at this time." Ask homePod to read latest message from (?) and it does, but cannot reply, even though it asks if " you want to reply?".
Have reset by unplugging and by touch. Have removed accessory from HomeKit and reinstalled ? Any help here ?

I have exactly the same problem. I found that if I change my location sharing from my iPhone to my ipad, I can send messages but if I change the location sharing back to my iPhone, my pod says there's a problem with the app. I contacted apple support but they weren't aware of the problem, now I have seen this I will contact them again, unless you have managed to resolve the problem?
Thank you, been on Apple for a month, Not much help. Will try your location sharing idea to see if mine works better. I thought there was a conflict by having TOO many devices trying to share or communicate, They did take a full diagnastic of it into engineering as well. I will see if better
I think it started after the last upgrade.
This is not the issue as far as I can tell. I contacted AS and they (said) working on it. It will make calls, and even read messages, Pod asks if i would like to reply but, says it cannot there is a problem with the App. Personal requests is on. Thank you.
