Mac mini or wireless keyboard problem?

My Apple wireless keyboard number keys have suddenly begun generating random entries .

From your description, I'd suspect the keyboard.

Test a different keyboard with your Mac Mini. (most any generic USB keyboard will do)
Test your wireless keyboard paired with another Mac.
