Back to my mac alternative

I used BTMM to access my time capsule hard drives remotely, neither ICloud nor a screensharing app can be considered an easy alternative for BTMM's easy access to my time capsule drives. My question is is there an app that does that, give you access to your external drives without having to go into your router (which is beyond my capabilities)
