Joining clips in iMovie
I am editing a video and I split a clip, after editing it some more I realize I do not want it to be split anymore. How do I join them back together?

Hi,
There are three ways that you can approach the split clip issue.
The first way is that you can do an Edit/Undo multiple times to undo each edit you made until you get back to where you can undo the split clip edit. This will work as long as you haven't closed iMovie after you made your edits. If you have closed iMovie in the interim, the Edit/Undo function will not work. Of course, you would need to then redo whatever edits and effects that you had applied to the segments when they were split.
Another thing you can try is to drag the edge of one of the split segments all the way out to its full duration again. That will give you your full clip back, but it will not contain the edits that you made to the other segment, such as if you added a filter or made color adjustments, audio adjustments, etc. You would have to add those back in again to the first segment.
A third way is that you can select both segments and Edit/Copy, Edit/Paste, them into a newly created project. Then share out that project as a File to your desktop. That will join the segments together in the shared out movie, along with the edits, Then drag the shared movie back into your project.
