Apple Watch Broken- Help ASAP

On October, I bought my new silver Apple Watch (series 4) in Miami. A few days back, the watch fell while I was charging it and the screen broke. I don't want to fix the screen in my country since there is no original Apple Store and im afraid it will loose its water prove. Im currently outside of the states but I will be traveling to New York for a week in a month or so. I was wondering:

If the screen is broken but latter fixed in an original Apple Store, will my watch still be waterproof?

Is it possible for me to go to an apple store (in Manhattan) and have my watch fixed in less than a week?

Please respond ASAP, its a matter or urgency.

Contact Apple Support and start arranging the repair. Dropping is accidental damage not covered by warranty, but you might have purchased AppleCare+ cover to reduce the cost. Apple Watch Repair - Official Apple Support

Apple doesn’t repair broken watches in store, they would normally provide a service exchange watch for non warranty repair so it should be either new or refurbished to as new condition, and the water resistance will be fully up to standard. If you have setup the Genius Bar appointment ahead of time it should be a simple in/out visit, but if you have AppleCare+ you might also be entitled to use Apple Watch Express Replacement - Apple Support
