iOS apps just stop working plus goofy power off

So I've noticed this issue for the past few months and lately it's been getting worse. All apps just stop working or get locked on startup AND I can't make/take any phone calls. The fix is to always restart the phone. This buys me roughly 2 days of time before I have to do it again. Also, the "ShutDown" screen is messed up. Has anyone else run into this? Possible fix?? I'd rather not nuke and pave but I'm getting to that point.
