Can you Pin the Menubar in Mojave vs having it disappear?

My Mom is in her 80s. She finally had to upgrade her Mac from an ancient one she had. Initially she hated it because it "behaved" differently than her older mac. In order for her to use it effectively she needed me to disable most new functions and make it as much like her old os as possible. For example, gestures completely confused her so they have been disabled. I've been able to disable most functions which confused her.

One thing she can't wrap her head around is the disappearing menu bar when working in a full screen window. Is there a way (in Mojave) to pin the menu bar in full screen mode vs having it disappear?

Thanks in advance.

The menubar has always disappeared when in fullscreen. Driving the cursor to the top of the screen will unhide it. Also opening as almost fullscreen by holding the Option key and clicking the green button will maximize the screen without hiding the menubar.

Thank you. I think in her very old os there was an option to pin the menu bar in full screen, but perhaps not. I only say that because that is what she is used to. Regardless, thank you for the reply. It appears from your response the menu bar cannot be pinned in full screeen.

Again, thank you. I will have to attempt to re-train her.
