We cannot get the TP-link M7300 to be recognized by either of our iPhones

I am currently in Spain and we have purchased a TP-link M7300 so that my husband and I can get wifi while we are driving in Spain. But we cannot get the device to be recognized by either of our iPhones in our wifi settings. Can you please help us figure out how to set up this new hotspot device with our Canadian IPhones
