Ok i need help really badly. I finished recording a quicktime video and i accidently deleted it instead of saving and i don't know how to recover it. i've tried everything and i've tried using recovery softwares but they don't have the quicktime video on it, or they all ask for an activation code to recover it. I've tried everything. I've tried typing in the command in the go section and theres nothing in the unsaved file. PLEASE HELP !

It depends on how it was lost, and also on the version of macOS (for name and location).
If the application crashed, or your battery ran out, then the temporary file will often be recoverable.
E.g. ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.QuickTimePlayerX/Data/Library/Autosave Information/Unsaved QuickTime Player Document
If you clicked “Don’t Save” instead of “Save”, then the temporary file is really discarded.
On modern Macs with SSD drive and FileVault encryption on, recovery is pretty much impossible, especially with SSD TRIM/ garbage collection, which zeros out deleted files preemptively at the disk’s own leisure.

It didn't get "sent" anywhere.
When you clicked don't save the temp file was destroyed.
It's gone for good.
I accidently clicked "Don't Save" so ur telling me its impossible! i really need that file there is nothing i could possibly do?
