Attachments Pop Up Window Cut Off in Full Screen & Split View Mail App
Hello,
So I've noticed a weird bug with the attachments window in the mail app. I use the Mail app in full screen mode with the "Prefer opening messages in split view when in full screen" option checked. When I go to compose a new email, the window opens up in split view to the right (note: issue happens if window is on left too). If I want to add an attachment to my new email, I click the attachments button and the pop up window appears for me to search my files and select the one I want to attach.
The problem is, this pop up window is cut off by the edge of the screen on the right side. This effectively cuts off the "Choose File" button and half of the last search pane making it difficult to see what file I am choosing.
If I switch the new email window to the left side of the screen, the left side of the pop up window is cut off which is the start of navigation to files.
I currently have my display settings between Larger Text and Default but switching to any of the other resolutions does not solve the problem. More of the attachments window becomes visible as the resolution increases but it still remains cut off.
This pop up window is immovable. It can be resized but only by making it wider which further cuts off either side of the window depending on which side the new email window is on.
I can't find any setting that addresses this issue. Obviously not using split view is a solution as the problem doesn't occur but I prefer the split view.
Thanks for any help anyone can provide.
