assistive touch menu does not appear

hello I’m having problems with assistive touch. When enabled and I touch the virtual button it takes me to the home screen. It Doesn’t pull up the Assistive touch menu. Did I somehow set it to do this? Is there a way I can set it back to pull up the AssistiveTouch menu

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. I understand from your post that you've enabled AssistiveTouch on your iPhone but the AssistiveTouch menu doesn't appear.


It sounds like you may have changed the setting in Settings > General > Accessibility > AssistiveTouch > Single-Tap (under "custom actions") to "Home" instead of "Open Menu".
