Removing a book from collections that I didn't add
Can someone please tell me how to remove a book I didn't add from a collection? And also, how can I delete a whole collection? With the new Apple Books, when I download a book that happens to be part of a series, Apple will create a collection of all the books in that series in a blatant attempt to sell books. I can't read any of them or even open any, but they are there cluttering up my library. I recently bought a book that happened to be a part of a series. A couple of years ago I had bought another book in that series which I had forgotten about. I am an avid reader with hundreds of books in my library, so this new book got tucked away in a newly created “collection” way, way down the list. I had a heck of a time finding it. Because I'm an avid reader I may have 15-20 new books waiting in the wings to read. I want all my new books right at the top to choose from. If I hadn't looked for that tucked away book immediately, I probably would never have remembered I had even bought it. I have tried everything I can think of to remove their extra books from my library and it's impossible. There is no “remove” tab nor can I drag any or all of the books to the trash; however, there is a tab to remove a book I have already bought. What does that tell you? I have many issues with this new software, but this is my biggest headache right now. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me eliminate these unwanted books.
