Trying to access old iPhone 5s (home button touch ID is broken so technically iPhone 5)

I am trying to access my old iPhone 5s, but apparently it has a passcode which I never set up. When I connected it to my laptop, it shows a different person's name saying iTunes cannot access because i need to unlock the passcode. I don't know what to do and I need to access since I have over 1,500 photos on their that I need!!!

To use Touch ID, if that is what you used to use, a passcode had to be setup first before you can setup Touch ID. The phone cannot generate its own passcode, that has to be done by the user. As Demo indicated, if you cannot remember the passcode, then the content can no longer be accessed. The only way to access the device is to restore it to factory to remove the passcode. You could restore to a backup if you have one made when the photos were on the device.
