TrueDepth camera issue

I used my phone near a pool. IPhone X. It was maybe under water for 2 seconds, and never more than 2 inches submerged. Right after I got out of the pool, I got a message that there was a problem with the TrueDepth camera, and my Face ID was disabled. There is no way to fix this. Wtf, Apple? Anyone have an answer?

It sounds like time to visit an Apple Store or Authorized Apple Service Center. Let them assess the iPhone and advise you how to proceed.
