Photos won’t project when playing iMovie off an ipad

We create a project on iMovie on an iPad with photos and videos. We then project it onto a big screen direct from the iPad. Sometimes the photos will display but then not display. The video all projects fine. Any fixes?

why is imovie no longer working on Ipads? I use i movie to edit videos I take on my ipad. When I import the movie into ipad it does not play (though you can hear the sound). The top half of the screen is black while the editing lower section passes frames of pics - but not in video form across the screen. I have multiple ipads, all doing the same thing - both before and after the update in August. All worked great for editing video projects in late may and June. Now those video projects no longer play, nor am i able to create new projects. Frustrated as this was always a reliable and easy way to create videos for my students.

iMovie cannot open videos created on iPhone 11 using the camera? I have an iPhone 11 Pro, ver 14.71 - iMovie won't recognize the videos created with my camera - throws up this message "The application “iMovie” cannot open the specified document or URL" . This occurs regardless of whether I try to open and edit it direct from Photos, or whether I try to import it from a file that I've messaged or otherwise sent to myself and downloaded. What's the deal ?
