Photos and iMovie don’t seem to link together?
Creating an iMovie is painless on an iPhone but almost impossible on a OSX device as the Albums created in Photos do not seem to appear in iMovie. Any sensible solutions out there?

Click on the Photos item in the iMovie media sidebar, and then click on My Albums. All of your albums will be displayed.
