Hello, how can one access the airport time capsule from windows pc? I have already installed airport utility but cannot access any folder on my windows pc.
If your PC is running Windows 10, Microsoft disabled the SMB1 protocol for security reasons that is necessary to access the Time Capsule.
So, the first troubleshooting question here would be........what operating system is your PC running?
Then, unfortunately you are pretty much stuck unless you want to try to overlook what Microsoft feels is a very significant security risk with SMB1 type connections. We would not recommend that you do this, but its your call.
Run a Google search with a phrase like "enable SMB1 on Windows 10".
Install the airport utility for windows can help.. it will load bonjour for windows.
You can do it directly by typing the IP address directly into Windows Explorer address bar..
\\10.0.1.1 (replace with the TC actual IP address).
