Apple Configurator 2

I was experiencing the same issue and receiving the same error for 2 days, no matter what I tried, the same error EVERY TIME! After restoring a device one last time, this time using iTunes in place of AC2, I connected my device to my MacBook and prior to preparing it in AC2, I decided to Get Info and noticed that all the apps that were supposed to be on the device were still listed under Apps. Each icon had a VPP banner on it. With the same device selected, I clicked, Window | VPP Assignments, searched using the device serial # and revoked the license for each app. I was then able to apply the Blueprint successfully. All apps and profiles have now been successfully installed.

Apple VPP site is malfunctioning = ConfigurationUtilityKit.vpp.error – 0x2583 (9603)

This test result is NOT THE ANSWER but it shows that communication with VPP site is still connecting but Apple VPP site is just malfunctioning.

Tested the revoking apps for a specific iPad proves that the Apple VPP site is just malfunctioning

Test: "Window menu > VPP Assignments, searched using the device serial # and revoked the license for each app. "

Then it properly applies the VPP apps in the Profile to that one iPad but only that one time. USELESS

This proves communication to and from the VPP site is working it is just failing to apply the apps and licenses that belong to us.

ConfigurationUtilityKit.vpp.error – 0x2583 (9603) when trying to add apps via AC2

This started for us a couple weeks ago approximately. Ever single VPP app fails that the AC2 is supposed to handle.

We remain signed in correctly and I resigned in to our VPP account in AC2 just to make sure.

I made a new Organization and a new Supervision Identity that also fails.

We changed nothing when our VPP apps just all started failing so this appears to be on the side of the VPP site.

When so many people say "I have this problem too" all at the same time why doesn't apple automatically pick up the thread and help?

I did this initially, however when you go through the process with the same iPad it will give the same error. I haven't been able to find an actual fix for this but going to put in a call to support shortly and see if there's anything they can do.

I'm having the same issues. I cannot get AC2 to update any apps on any of the iPads we have. I continuously get that error message. Have you had any luck with any sort of a solution?

No debate that there's something wrong on the VPP side. My suggested "solution" keeps us operating for the time being. Our devices are utilized in our aircraft and keep us flying. If others get use from it temporarily, perfect. I am not waiting for an Apple solution.
