Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
Red icon number not appearing... only way to find if I have new message is to go into messages... very annoying. Checked all the notification settings and nothing has changed all set correctly...
Apple please fix it’s super annoying....

Red icon is called Badges
Enable Message Badge as follows
Setting > Notifications > Message > Badges [Enable] (Picture shown is for Phone and the same is valid for Messages}
