MacBook Pro

Mac is stuck on log in screen. Will not enter password key strokes. Curser just blinks. Will not shut down so I can reboot.

macOS High Sierra stuck on logging in screen So my mid-2011 Mac mini keeps getting stuck on the login screen after I type my password. Under my name the spinner is frozen but the pointer continually shows the pinwheel forever. I’ve attached a picture. Does anyone know why this is happening. Also I’ve ran First Aid from Internet Recovery which found a block corrupted and said it fixed it. Thanks, Lewis

My MacBook Pro is stuck on the My MacBook Pro is stuck on the login screen with the Apple logo and thlog on screen with the Apple logo and the progress bar. It won’t load past this. I have tried a hard reset but it takes me back to the same screen. My MacBook Pro is stuck on the login screen with the Apple logo and the progress bar. I have force reset but it keep coming back to the same screen.
