AirPod volume control when paired with a non Apple Bluetooth device
I can pair my AirPods with my TV or my dish network receiver (Hopper), however I am unable to control volume with either TV remote or dish remote. Suggestions?

Thanks for the reply. That did not work, but I did solve the problem. I have a sound bar hooked up, and there is an audio setting on my TV which toggles between “control TV volume” or “control Aux volume”. When I switched to “control TV volume”, I was able to adjust the AirPod volume.
