There's a crack at the bottom of my screen, but in the space where it says macbook pro

I'm not sure if it is considered my screen or not since its at the very bottom beneath the screen in the space where the label says "MacBook Pro". I don't know how much it would cost to fix it since I don't live near any Apple Stores nor do I have apple care. I'm not sure if it also requires me to have to change my entire screen.

The picture is just an example showing which area of the laptop I cracked mine at.

Sorry, that is because I pulled something up from google and just pointed the area of where it was cracked. I covered mine up so nothing falls off anymore. It's about an inch wide of a crack and some pieces have already fallen off.

Do you know how much it would be to fix it approximately?

No, I believe that area is fine and isn't worn off. It's just the area that I cracked at the bottom that is the only problem

Here is a picture of my laptop I found before I covered it up.

If you are covering it with tape, then that should be Ok as it keeps the glass shards in place and protects the cables a bit as well as protecting it from liquid or dirt.

I have seen that happen a lot, but I don't know what causes it. If something wasn't pinched when you closed it, then I suspect that while it was closed some pressure was on that corner causing it to press into the edge of the Top Case.

Unfortunately that is not covered by the standard Apple warranty and I am not aware of any special repair programs for this issue.

I'm not sure if I see the crack in your photo, but I have seen this happen on the 2016-2017 displays at that location. If you don't have AppleCare, then you can keep using it until it gets worse as it does require the replacement of the complete display which is a bit expensive.

Is the Anti-Reflective (AR) coating on the Display Ok or does it have spots where it is worn off (usually around the camera as that is where people open & close the display)? If the AR Coating has missing spots, then it may qualify for a free repair under a special Apple repair program even with the crack.

Officially Apple will not replace this under warranty and AFAIK there is no current programs to address it. Of course if you go to an Apple Store, they sometimes make exceptions because they are Apple, but AASPs currently have no free repair option for this issue.

If the OP has AppleCare+, it can reduce the cost of the repair.

If the user doesn't want to pay for a repair, my earlier post applies if they are willing to take the risk.
