Iphone losing cellular signal

Hi,

I have an Iphone 6s and in past few months I started to have occasional loss of signal. Symptoms:

- phone suddenly drops signal when looking at it - sometimes it goes from 4 lines in 4G to no line and afterwards in No Service mode

- sometimes it goes from 4G into 3G with an intermediate No service in between

- when stuck into no service - sometimes it recovers to 4G after i switch phoe to Plane Mode and back

- when the above Plane Mode does not work, I have to reboot phone and then it usually works ok in 4G for at least a few hours - however I had days when I had to either reboot or use plane mode several times to keep phone working

- since it always works after reboot I suspect it is software related

iOS version is 12.1.4

I am reporting this problem from a central urban area where 4G signal is not a problem

Check If your carrier has any problem on their side and/or if they have a software update for your iphone.

If everything is okay on their side, and if you're not using a case or a cover that can obstruct (interfere with) your device's antenna, I would suggest that you have your iPhone inspected at an Apple Store or Authorized Service Provider (just to be sure that it's not a hardware failure).

Coming back to this topic.

I continue to experience randomly this problems, every day. This does not look like interference, but like a software glitch because as soon as i do a hard reset, the phone works for a while..until it loses signal again.

Can someone direct me towards using some Apple Support debugging tool to understand what is wrong?
