iPhone 6s unexpected shutdown

I own an Apple iPhone-6S which had an unexpected shutdown problem and covered in their recall program.

Despite that the service center in India has charged me for the battery replacement and the Apple support team is neither providing a resolution nor a response in writing.

Is there an e-mail id or an escalation point as Apple support team is unwilling to give a response in writing.

Such a shame!

Be aware the defective parts from Apple are extremely rare. This could not even have Apple certified parts if this was bought from a third-party seller. You are correct, they still do charge you for a new battery, as they would not give away batteries every time they go bad. Maybe they require a written response just to see if they are eligible for a free battery upgrade, because if the battery health is high, and the product is purchased directly from Apple, then it may have been a truly defective Apple part. Thus, a free battery replacement would be applicable.
