My previous iPhone was stolen after I bought an upgraded phone.Someone changed my Apple Id password and my trusted device. Is there anyway to regain access to my Apple Id?

My previous iPhone was stolen after I upgraded to the 8plus. They changed the password and trusted device.I cannot update apps,log into iCloud,or even shut down ICloud on my phone without the password to this ID! Is there anyway to prove my ownership of this phone and Apple ID and maybe regain full access to my device?

You might need to have a copy of the original purchase receipt with the serial number on it when you contact support to prove you own the phone.
