Can’t open locked icloud note

I have one locked note on my phone, and since I moved all my notes to “icloud notes,” I can’t unlock it. Nothing happens when I tap the lock icon, “view note,” or any of the edit icons. In the picture, the red circles show all of the icons that do nothing when I tap them. Also, when I try to move the note back to my regular notes, it won’t let me! I tried exiting out of the app and restarting my phone, but the locked note still won’t unlock. Another thing I tried was changing the password to my notes, but this also did nothing. PLEASE tell me what I can do to fix this, I cannot find anyone else on the internet that is having this issue.

If I understand your post correctly, when you try to view a locked note the icons to not respond to allow you to enter your password to unlock the note. I can certainly understand how vital it is to have access to important notes. I’d like to help.

Are you able to view the locked note by going to www.icloud.com from another device like a computer? If so, try these steps:

First, back up your data. You can do that with these steps:

How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

Then make sure your device is fully up-to-date with these steps:

Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

If you are still unable to view the locked note or if you weren't able to view the note on the website, try resetting the password for your notes and then try again. The steps to reset the password are in this article:
