Keychain access

How on earth do you disable the keychain access on my Mac? I have OSX Yosemite . I have read through the discussions and can’t get it to stop.... when I click on the lock.. the rainbow circle just keeps going round and round..

Hello minimeeker,

Thanks for the post in Apple Support Communities. I see you have a question about the Keychain Access app on your Mac.

Can you provide more information about what you'd like to do in Keychain Access? Keychain Access is a built-in app that can't be disabled, but there may be options, depending on what you're looking to do. This is a great resource that covers what you can do with Keychain Access: What is Keychain Access on Mac?

If you happen to be seeing repeated prompts to enter a login keychain password, this resource might help you as well: If your Mac keeps asking for the login keychain password

I hope this helps get you started.

Take care.
