Disappearing Contacts on Iphone
What's the issue with the latest update on iOS 12? My contacts list is missing a number of contacts.... why? How do I fix it?? Help!

There are no issues with iOS 12.1.4, which is the latest iOS update. As far as Contacts, where your contacts are is dependent on how you are managing them. If you are using iCloud, then make sure you are logged into the same iCloud account on the iPhone, and that you have all groups set to display, if you happen to have more than one group.
If you are using an email or other account to manage them, check that account. You may have to restore your device to a backup that was made when the contacts were on the phone if you were not using one of those types of services.
