pugu5l.com

Hi, in the last few days my safari keeps redirect me through pugu5l.com to some random websites. Google told me that it's a kind of adware but I can't find out how to get rid of it without having to 'install' some of their suggested software (I'm afraid that those softwares are another kind of malware). Has anyone come up with a solution for this problem? Thank you.

Use  the latest release of MalwareBytes for Mac to remove malware/adware installed on your Mac.

     Install guide:       https://support.malwarebytes.com/docs/DOC-1817

     Uninstall Guide:  https://support.malwarebytes.com/docs/DOC-1190

The installer may ask you to allow it in Security & Privacy  /System Preference. Allow it.

     Click the “Scan Now” button.

Repeat the scan couple of times.

Once done quit Malwarebytes for Mac.

Restart the computer, relaunch Safari holding the shift key down.
