Error Message 66 and 68 in disk Utility on High Sierra?

My HD in High Sierra is slow. Disk Utility comes up with an error message:

warning: apfs_num_other_fsobjects (66) is not valid (68)

Any ideas what is causing this? Doesn't seem to get fixed with Disk Utilities.

thanks.

My HD is an SSD and has always been speedy. The error message is at the end of the run, I think is is after snapshots. I will run it again. This time no error message.??

I ran EtreCheck and at seems that <iconservicesagaent> is taking more than 1/4 of availble Ram.

also, get this message =  "terminating with uncaught exception of type NSException"

Thanks for your reply -- I am going to try to reinstall the OS High Sierra. The has worked on my laptop.

Thanks for your response. I am running that again, and after I am reinstalling the OS - High Sierra. That has worked in the past on my laptop. My iMac HD seems to be running so slow in trying to rebuild the icons as I switch windows in Finder.

<iconservicesagent> takes up more than a third of available RAM. This seems to be locking up Finder. I appreciate your help.
