Description field in iPhotos

I added a description to each photo and when I shared an album of the favourites the description doesn't show up. I even tried exporting but the description does show in jpg, png or tiff. In a previous post someone said to add it to the description field rather than the title but again nothing exports or shows in shared albums.

Is there a bug in my version of iPhoto or my OS which is Mojave 10.14.3? MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015). S/N C02RTHZ5FVH5

Last year when I ordered a Photobook I had the same problem on my iMac and had to re-enter all the information again as a cutline on each photo. A real pain and waste of time for several hundred photos.

either titles nor descriptions nor keywords are shown in shared albums. The only relible way to tell something about a photo in a shared album is to add a comment. Add the comment immediately when adding the photo to the shared album. If you add the comment later, it might rearrange the photos on the webpage, if you share the album as a public web page.
