iPhone 8 Plus iOS 12.1.4 battery drain idle overnight

Hello apple communtiy,

I am having trouble understanding the fact that my phone died over night from 50% with out any usage. All of my background app refresh is off and the report for the battery said there was 0 activity between 12am to 8:30am. But it still died. Is there any explanation for this?

As as well I had some apps open in Ram I.e. Facebook, Snapchat, YouTube, weather channel, messages, Chrome. Even thought I had these open it should have reported the usage between that time as background usage but didn’t

I added this photo to help.

Protect you Battery:

1. Put on Low Power Mode

2. Put Auto Lock On (1 min)

3. Put Auto Answer Off

4. If you Want to watch continuous Video. Stream it on TV or a Monitor.

5. Charge before it drops below 20-30%

6. Try connecting to Wifi in place of Cellular.

7. Periodically Check your Battery Health (Settings > Battery > Battery Health)

This only happened once so I don’t know if it will happen again (reason for asking). I didn’t know to put the phone into low battery mode befor going to sleep but everything else I pay attention to Vigourously. It’s just that it’s so random for it to drain like this overnight when I’ve been doing the same thing for almost a year now. It Usually drains 10% MAX overnight.

I try and keep my phone around 50% to 60% all the time, which is the best for the battery.

Thanks for the input!
