tags do not work properly

when I change the color of a tag or remove it the behavior is not good.

The original tag still remains.

It is necessary to display another file then return so that the tags refraich themselves correctly.

It is very embarrassing when one works with a mac!

A solution to solve that?

Tag colors in Ventura have changed for the worse Mac OS (e.g. Big Sur and prior) used to have these brilliant Tag colors to label files and folders. It seems Ventura changed the Tag colors to be dark and muted. The choices now seem to be between a Red, an Orange and a Yellow that look identical and are closer to Brown; a dark Blue and a dark Green that are difficult to distinguish and a Grey that is closer to Black. I use the tag colors a lot, and it is now difficult to tell tags from one another. Is there any way to change the tag colors in Ventura short of reverting back to a prior OS?

Tags I need more tags than the 7 colors that come with macOS Monterey. Is there a way I can add more colors? Can I add other symbols? Are there any other options? It needs to be visual. Behind the scenes coding like creating a green A, B & C won't work, unless it's clear, by looking at the tab, as it appears next to the file name, that the tab is the green A or the green B, etc.

When you add a second tag the original tag is not removed. You have the go back and unselect the original tag in a separate operation.
