in both my old (Sierra) and new (Mojave) Macbook Air color tags are not showing correctly on right click.
This file has green tag, but it does not show
Not even after selecting other color

On Favourite Tags they are the normal colors, but they do not appear.
When I hit tick to show on sidebar they dont work well, it only appears one, and without color..
If you have dragged tag names with no color assignment to the six Tags… in the bottom of that preference panel, then they will not show any color. Roll the mouse pointer over the particular tag name's color circle and choose an available color for it. Then drag that tag color to the bottom row in an available location.
When you introduce a file on your Mac with a tag name not established in the Finder Preferences : Tags… panel, the Finder will automatically add it.
I have deleted all color tags and creted them again and that solved. Thanks Viking
Finder Preferences : Tags panel. Show the contents of it. The primary tag colors should be present and checked by default.
Only the System defined tag colors will appear in the horizontal row of Tags… colors. Click the blue box with horizontal line in it to change to [√]. What changed?
