Photo background on start up.

Hi,

I am trying to find out how to delete an old photo, which always appears in the background when my computer starts up and I log in. I have already deleted the actual photo from my library but it's still there every time.

Any suggestions would be very helpful. Thanks in advance.

Lockscreen Wallpaper No matter what I change my desktop wallpaper to, my lockscreen wallpaper doesn't change. I have tried going to the Desktop Pictures folder in Library/Caches but each time, the lockscreen.png file automatically updated the image on it's own. It's just not what is actually being displayed on the lockscreen wallpaper. I have tried using apple wallpapers and custom photos but it doesn't seem to make a difference. To permanently delete an image you must do it from Photos in the library menu and not merely from an album.

Presuming you mean the desktop image, go to System Preferences and select Desktop and Screensaver and from there choose another image.
