Refurbished iPad not working

So I just purchased a refurbished iPad pro 10.5 off Amazon. I set everything up and went to start the system update and was asked for my password which I put in but it kept saying it was wrong I then locked my iPad and tried to unlock it and again the password I had just selected moments ago was not working either so eventually my ipad got disabled I then unlocked it with iTunes and now I'm being asked for the original apple id used to start this device so.l I put in my apple Id and password and it's says it's wrong again so I went on icloud to see if I had the wrong password but everything was right. So story short I just bought an refurbished iPad and now I'm locked out because it's saying my password is incorrect when it's not

Sounds like it is still set up with the buyer you purchased from as the "OWNER" reach out to whom you purchased it from and see if they will provide you with the apple id and password they used to set it up with. If not the bad news is you have a "BRICK" and will not be able to use the iPad. Check with Amazon for return policy.
