I can't register or update my becker map pilot for my motorhome using my mac. I would like to know how to get this done with out getting rid of my mac for a windows PC.

You need to contact the developers of the software. What are the system requirements for the software you are attempting to install? If it is a Windows only application, then you can install it however you need to purchase a license of MS Windows. You can then either use virtualization software such as Parallels to simultaneous run Mac OS or Windows. The second option to run Windows on your iMac is to use Boot Camp Assistant ( Applications - Utilities - Boot Camp Assistant) and install MS Windows. You can then boot either into Windows or Mac OS however they will not run simultaneously.

The Becker Map Pilot software is apparently Windows-only software, and supports device types M077 and M078 only. Thus, it cannot be installed natively on macOS without either Windows 10 in macOS Mojave's Boot Camp partition, or via a virtual machine running Windows as a guest operating system and the Becker Map Pilot software installed there. Rkaufmann87 already discussed that alternative.
