Connect magic keyboard with android phone

Before buying a magic keyboard from apple (the new one with a rechargeable battery, not the one with the AA batteries), I would like to know if it can be connected via bluetooth and also used with a android smartphone. In my case that is a Sony Xperia Z2.

I heard different answers already, but I want to know for sure, because I don't want to spend € 100 if I won't be able to use it at all.

I really prefer a magic keyboard from apple over one from another brand because it's very lightweight and I want to use it to go travelling. Besides i really like the keystrokes from apple keyboards.
