Buying an iPhone Underage

Hi, I've recently been thinking about buying the new iPhone XS Max. I've been saving up the money for a while, and I have a little more than enough to buy it. All I want is to buy the iPhone with cash (as I do not have a credit card) without any of the extras(No service, (maybe) a warranty, Apple Care, etc*) and be done. Would I be able to buy the phone still, being Underage? Or because I'm paying in cash?

I think you would be able to buy the phone pretty much no matter how young you are, and Apple would be happy to take cash. However, to use the phone is another matter. That would depend upon the service providers. Apple has its own age restrictions for Apple IDs which you would need/want to be able to use Apple's services such as getting apps onto the phone. To use the iPhone as a telephone you would need a phone company to provide service and they likely have age restrictions for the contract you would have to sign unless you went through one of the no-contract services such as Tracfone (but they may still have age theoretical age restrictions which you would have to check).
