Recently I purchased the smart controller for the DJI Mavic 2 Zoom Drone, this controller has a HDMI output so it could be used with a auxiliary monitor. I want to use my iPad Pro as a auxiliary monitor. I know I can use Lightning connection as a HDMI output but is there any connection or conector That could be used as a HDMI input and if so do I need a app for it?

As far as I can tell, this is not currently possible.
It seems like this would be a no-brainer. Now that the iPad Pro has USB-C, it would make so much sense for it to have a "display mode" so that I can plug in my PS4, my Switch, or any hdmi connection into it and use it as a screen wherever I am.
If Apple wants to help us maximize the value of our devices, they should definitely add this feature. It would save me ~$300 on having to buy a portable monitor.
I am looking to stream wireless using Apple TV. Flying DJI Phantom 4 with DJI Go App on an Ipad Air. I want to duplicate the screen onto a larger tv for viewing in a command post. I belive the Apple TV allows this to happen. If anyone has any input that would be great
It should work but one should mind if one use airplay mirror for it then the ipad not having a 16:9 widescreen format it will not take up the whole screen of the tv
